    Description

    Our client is looking for an Accounting Assistant to join their team in Hollywood, CA!

    Responsibilities:

    • Maintain Accounts Payable files.
    • Sort and file financial documents.
    • Handle general accounting emails and phone calls.
    • Assist with Foreign Levies and Clip check runs.
    • Prepare Annual 1099's and 1042's.
    • Create Excel schedules for cash transactions.
    • Prepare financial documents like invoices, bills, accounts payable, and accounts receivables.
    • Maintain vendor records in Business Central.
    • Supervise the annual Iron Mountain storage process.
    • Quickly review invoices for payment and processing.
    • Process daily check deposits into the bank.
    • Help with account analysis and coding.
    • Reconcile account balances.
    • Handle phone calls and emails as necessary.
    • Support other team members in the Accounting department.
    • Perform filing, mailing, and additional tasks as required.

    Required Skills/Abilities:

    • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
    • Willingness to learn new methods and procedures.
    • Team player mentality, open to sharing ideas and practices.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to maintain confidentiality.

    Experience:

    • 2-3 years of administrative or accounting experience.
    • Proficient in preparing Excel worksheets.
    • Prior experience with an Accounting System such as MS Business Central.

    Physical Requirements:

    • Extended periods of working at a desk and on a computer.
    • Capacity to lift up to 15 pounds when needed.
