- Support day-to-day operations of research activities following study guidelines and protocols.
- Recruit, enroll, and evaluate study participants in various settings.
- Interact with participants to provide information on study interventions and data collection procedures.
- Collect and maintain study data in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Assist with study interventions and social media messaging.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Requirements:
- BS or BA degree
- At least one year of experience in community/public health programming or research
- Knowledge of Navajo culture and community setting
- Proficiency in Navajo language is a plus
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Attention to detail and meeting deadlines
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications
- Flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities
- Strong organizational skills
- Respect for confidentiality
- Interest in American Indian/Alaska Native health
- On-site remote position near the Navajo Nation
- Requires own vehicle and willingness to travel for study activities
- Reliable internet and phone service needed
- Flexible working schedule
- Timely completion of tasks
