    Overview:

    Baltimore-based Roundtable Research is looking for a special kind of Member Services Associate. We are looking for the top 20% of the 80/20 business rule to join our team of talented, passionate employees dedicated to serving and delivering world-class support to our subscribers. The right candidates must posses the intellectual curiosity to learn about our business and perhaps assist in other areas in the future. We are looking for a hybrid representative that can assist customers empathetically with their needs and also make compelling cases why additional products may be helpful.

    Responsibilities:

    Associates will be charged with maximizing member experience by primarily taking inbound calls. This includes providing assistance navigating our website, ensuring customer satisfaction, providing account overview and maintenance, and educating subscribers on current promotions.

    Your main goal is to resolve a customer's problem in "one touch." Therefore, you will be asked to anticipate and/or take proactive measures to offer alternative solutions.

    Additionally, you will have the opportunity to sell additional subscriptions or offer alternative subscriptions during the conversations you have throughout the day. Sales experience is not required, however it is expected that you look for every opportunity to sell value added services.

    Roundtable Research emphasizes product knowledge to encourage customers to consider additional services as a part of our value-added approach.

    Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's Degree or, in lieu of degree, previous customer service experience.
    • Excellent customer service, written, and telephone skills.
    • Ability to build rapport with customer base as well as with co-workers and teammates.
    • Capacity to analyze and manage problem situations.
    • Experience working in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple tasks simultaneously.
    • Previous customer services and/ or sales experience.
    • Basic understanding of finance and/or investing.
