    Job Description and Duties

    This position can last up to 24 months and may become permanent based on workload. This is a re-advertisement of a previous job posting, so if you applied before, you need to re-apply with the new Job Control (JC) to be considered.

    About this Role:
    The Capitated Rates Development Division (CRDD) handles the development and processing of Medi-Cal managed care capitation rates for over 10 million beneficiaries in California. The Health Program Specialist I (HPS I) will work under the Section Chief, acting as the main policy expert for payment policies and regulations. Responsibilities include analyzing data, proposing solutions, and collaborating with staff on policy development and communication.
