Jonathan Sam

I had recently graduated with a Bachelors in Psychology from Sacramento state and I am now pursuing my masters degree in school counseling. I have experience working with students from ages as young as five years old to twenty- two  years old. I have worked as a tutor and caregiver as well as a behavior therapist and instructors aide from elementary schools, middle and high schools. What got my interest in this position is the passion I have for working with students and especially in a Univeristy setting because my career goal is to work with college students because I am pursuing my masters degree in school counseling. I enjoy assisting and guiding students with meeting or exceeding their educational goals to because it is very rewarding to me, I enjoy knowing that I played an important role in future professionals careers. Some of my job duties from my previous experience included assisting students with their homework and any other questions they had regarding their academic goals. I typed down and documented my students sessions and work by recording all the data online, taking session notes as well as communicating with my supervisors,  consultants and having team meetings on any updates regarding my students.

Behavior Therapist
