Job purpose The position of Beverage Sales Manager serves to plan and implementsales and product development programs targeted toward existing and futuresales, with emphasis on wholesale wine and beverage sales.
QualificationsQualifications include:
3-5 years in outside sales, required; 1-5 years' experience in food/beverage sales, preferred\ Bachelor's degree in Business or experience in a small business, Hospitality Management or related field preferred; experience will be consideredProven track record of sales performance, especially in developing new marketsExperienced setting sales goals and developing and managing budgetsExceptional people skills including the ability to network and socialize with potential and current clientsExcellent organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks & projects Strong oral and written communications skills.
Identify and be the point of contact for new and existing wholesale clientsAchieve Company sales goals and objectives Follow industry trends to identify new opportunities for potential salesMonitor competitor products, sales and marketing activities and make recommendations to maintain product offerings at or above competitor's offerings Help expand current product offerings into new markets or locationsProvide input on enhancements that better meet customer needs Maintain an open line of communication across all departments General:Represent Folino Estate in various events and exhibitions Provide high quality service to all clientsAttend all department meetings as neededDevelop relationships with external customers to strengthen and expand customer base for sales opportunitiesValid driver's license and the ability to make deliveries in personal vehicleAdministrative:Maintain a report of sales by established key performance indicatorsProvide monthly summary reports on leads and assigned performance indicatorsProvide a quarterly competitive review of the assigned territoryComplete expense reports, sales reports, and other paperwork requirements in a timely mannerAssist in maintaining Operations ManualThis Job Description reflects management's assessment of essentialfunctions; however, it does not prescribe nor restrict the tasks that may beassigned.
