    Description

    DESCRIPTION Under general supervision, provides clinical and administrative support to the Special Procedures motility program.

    Duties include assisting with motility procedures; support of equipment (processing and maintenance); provide patient care support for appointments; scheduling clinic and procedural visits, answer phones, maintain statistics, order supplies, maintain referral database, provide customer service assistance to the staff, physicians, and patients; provide coverage assistance as needed to other Special Procedures areas such as front desk, clinics, and other procedural areas.

    Performs other related duties as required.

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

    Three (3) years of appropriate experience in a hospital or ambulatory setting; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

    Medical Assistant experience.
    Medical terminology training and/or certificate.

    BART or BLS at time of hire with commitment to get BART within six (6) months of hire date.

    Proficient with MS Office and computerized documentation.

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
    Bachelor's Degree.
    High Level disinfection experience.
    Front and back office experience.
    Bilingual English/Spanish.
    Knowledge and experience in the GI specialty.

    SPECIAL CONDITIONS

    Must be a flexible team player and able to manage multiple priorities to meet administrative and patient care needs.

    Must be able to work various hours and locations based on business needs.
    Employment is subject to a criminal background check and pre-employment physical.
    Pay Transparency Act

    Annual Full Pay Range:
    $54,664 - $67,944 (will be prorated if the appointment percentage is less than 100%)

    Hourly Equivalent:
    $ $32.54

    Factors in determining the appropriate compensation for a role include experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.

    The Hiring Pay Scale referenced in the job posting is the budgeted salary or hourly range that the University reasonably expects to pay for this position.

    The Annual Full Pay Range may be broader than what the University anticipates to pay for this position, based on internal equity, budget, and collective bargaining agreements (when applicable).
