I am International Medical graduate. Looking for research options. I have decided to continue my career as researcher.

A.Worked as Microbiologist: 

1. Worked as a medical examiner for medical students during testing periods. 

• Responsible for achieving and maintaining full accreditation of the laboratory. 
• Responsible for water analysis and maintenance.
• Supervised diagnostic methods and examination of specimens’ interpretation and reporting. 
• Performed standardized serological methods to enumerate and identify bacteria, and provide antibiotic sensitivity testing. 
• Supervised ELISA, Widal test, Brucella agglutination test, Weil Felix test, VDRL testing, parasitological techniques, staining methods, fungal methods. 
• Collaborated with clinicians, hospital staff, and nursing staff regarding the diagnosis and management of patients and prevention of infection. 
• Advised on hospital policies for antibiotic and disinfectant use and infection control.
• Worked as the medical officer for Prevention of Parent to Child Transmission which covered topics such as HIV transmission, prevention, epidemiology, HIV co-infections, and anti-retroviral drugs. 
• Supervised and trained medical students, residents, medical lab technicians, nursing and dental students on Microbiology. Developed curriculum according to Rajiv Gandhi University standards.   

B.I have also worked as primary care provider: Ran both inpatient and outpatient primary care services. 

C.After coming to USA, I did my USMLE Step 1 2 and 3. I got into Residency. I did not complete the residency. During residency I Ran both inpatient and outpatient primary care services.
