    Description

    Join our team at UNM Hospitals as a Bilingual Registered Nurse on the Inpatient 5th Floor We offer up to $8.00 in additional compensation with our Clinical Advancement Program (CAP), based on your Nursing Education and National Certifications, with five CAP levels to work towards Plus, enjoy sign-on bonus and relocation reimbursement options.

    We offer flexible shifts, with weekday nights at 17% differential, weekend nights at 26% differential, and weekend day shifts at 15% differential. As an RN on our Inpatient 5th Floor at SRMC, you'll work with Neonate, Pediatric, Adolescent, Adult, and Geriatric age groups.

      Responsibilities:
    • Provide direct nursing care to assigned patients within the nursing process
    • Provide clinical leadership for other staff and assume relief charge duties when designated
    • Serve as a role model to promote a positive work environment and quality patient care
    • Ensure adherence to Hospitals and departmental policies and procedures
    • Implement and document individualized care plans incorporating age specific considerations, including discharge planning and patient/family teaching
    • Administer medication, including IV medication, via the Seven Rights
    • Assist with special tests and procedures, ensure proper consent has been obtained
    • Deliver safe direct care to an assigned group of patients as required
      • Requirements:
    • Graduate of a Nationally Accredited Nursing Program
    • Current RN licensure in NM or as allowed by reciprocal agreement by NM
    • Bilingual English/Spanish
    • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification for Healthcare Providers or Professional Rescuers within 30 days of hire
    • Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certification within 6 months of hire
    • Basic Arrhythmia Certification within 1 year of hire
