    Description

    Registered Nurse - Acute Services

    Join our team of dedicated nurses and receive sign-on bonuses ranging from 15% to 26% for weekend and overnight shifts. Our ideal candidate will provide direct care to patients, serving as a positive role model while adhering to hospital policies and procedures. Patient age ranges from neonate to geriatric.

    • Ensure patient safety by adhering to protocols and identifying potential risks
    • Stay current with professional development through education and participation in workshops and in-services
    • Maintain a comfortable and therapeutic environment for patients and families
    • Collaborate with healthcare team to create and record individualized care plans, including discharge planning and patient/family education
    • Administer medication, including IV medication, and document clinical findings
    • Assist with special tests and emergency measures as needed
    • Report potential patient safety concerns and encourage patients to advocate for their own care

    Qualifications:

    • Program Graduate with an accredited nursing degree - BSN preferred
    • CPR/BLS Certification within 30 days of hire
    • Active RN licensure in NM
    • Certification in a specialty area, TNCC, and/or ENPC is a plus

    Physical Requirements:

    • Heavy work: ability to exert up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly
    • Wear personal protective equipment when handling hazardous materials
