- Analyzes and evaluates, on a quantitative and qualitative basis, users' feedback relating to the effectiveness of automation products, programs, or tools in support of meeting established assessment measures, goals, and objectives for both short- and long-range objectives.
- Reviews research results, conducts analysis, and prepares recommendations for management regarding modernization projects and program operations. Assists in the development, of, implementation, and tracking of data collection, analysis, and recommended improvements to modernization programs and projects.
- Participates in engagement sessions with business lines, staff offices, and regional offices to solicit, document, and propose recommendations in the design and development of modernization projects to resolve issues, improve the user experience, and improve claims processing efficiency.
- Reviews, analyzes, and tracks engagement, user feedback, and communications projects initiated and supported by Prod Ops and OBA. Identifies, tracks, and summarizes recommendations and reports having a direct impact on agency program activities. Provides notification and updates to VBA organizational elements impacted by a project. Develops agenda and facilitates briefings on specific issues regarding these recommendations and reports. Responsible for distributing project updates to leadership, VBA staff, and other interested parties.
- Works with VBA offices and facilities nationwide to develop strategic communication plans and products, and to assist with national and local communication needs. Performs editorial reviews on sensitive written material and products developed throughout the organization and supported by VBA business lines and program offices. Initiates, administers, and directs internal and external strategic communication programs to meet various information needs in conformance with the overall mission and policies of the agency.
- Formulates themes, messages, and writes or edits news releases, presentations, information, papers, and other related materials. Is knowledgeable about and cascades leadership's vision. Provides philosophy and approach for presentations and briefings.
- Performs necessary research and contacts key officials internal and external to VBA to clarify, request, collect, and analyze needed data and information in support of strategic communication plans and products. Follows up on issues as necessary to ensure that appropriate is implemented timely. Work Schedule: FT, Monday through Friday 7:30a-4pm
