    The Staff Accountant maintains records of financial transactions by posting transactions, analyzing daily activity and ensuring legal requirements compliance.

    • Regular reconciliation of relevant bank and liability accounts.
    • Monthly preparation of financials for executive review.
    • Maintains historical records by filing documents in our shared cloud software.
    • Reviews financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends.
    • Complies with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying requirements; enforcing adherence to requirements; filing reports; advising management on needed actions.

    Education & Experience

    • Associate Degree in accounting, finance, Previous bookkeeping experience preferred
    • Experience in working with multiple legal entities under different legal umbrellas
    • Strong communication, attention to detail, analytical, problem-solving, and prioritization skills
    • Understanding of SFAS rules, accounting principles, confidentiality, and reporting standards
