- Site maintenance - Responsible to ensure that company facilities and grounds are maintained in accordance with relevant regulations, agency standards, and fiscal considerations.
- Develops, implements, and reviews regularly, site-specific maintenance logs for company facilities.
- Conducts quarterly inspections of Preventive Maintenance Task Sheets. Provides a summary of maintenance recommendations to the maintenance Manager.
- Coordinates, arranges, and supervises, or provides for the completion of corrective and preventive maintenance in accordance with operating procedures, practices and financial considerations.
- Supervises maintenance shop and machine shop of parts for equipment and prototypes or equipment for process maintenance or improvement.
- Facilities upgrades or renovations - Provides direct support with personnel and equipment to upgrade, renovate, or improve facilities, equipment, or processes.
- Equipment Maintenance - Responsible to ensure that major equipment and furnishings are maintained in safe, operable condition and/or arrange for replacement.
- Develops, implements and reviews equipment records (included in Maintenance Management System).
- Establishes procedures and contact to ensure timely repairs of equipment requiring repairs on a frequent basis.
- Secures major equipment bids and makes recommendations for purchase when replacement or new equipment is required.
- Maintenance Training - Arranges for or provides training for personnel as it relates to maintenance of company facilities.
- Provides staff training in a variety of maintenance topics including the effective utilization of the maintenance Management System, completion of routine maintenance specific to the facility, equipment operations, multimedia fire safety training, and so forth.
- Attends and participates in training opportunities and seminars relevant to this position.
- Participates in the development of policies and procedures related to maintenance.
- Participates in annual budget preparation as it relates to maintenance of facilities, grounds, and equipment.
- Completes other assignments as deemed appropriate by the Maintenance Manager.
- Recommends and initiates measures to improve production, methods, equipment performance and quality of product.
- Responsible for development and adherence to the policies, procedures and instructions of the QS 9000 and MS 9000 systems.

Description
SUMMARY
Works in cooperation with managers and supervisors to coordinate the maintenance of equipment and owned or leased facilities in which programs are provided by performing the following duties.
Other Responsibilities:
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Directly supervises up to 12 employees in the maintenance Department. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with ATC policies and applicable laws.
Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization. Must be able to read and understand English.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear.
The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, and depth perception.WORK ENVIRONMENT
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts. The employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles and risk of electrical shock.
The employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; high, precarious places; toxic or caustic chemicals; outside weather conditions; and vibration.
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
