Responsibilities

Execute the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close process.
Perform analytical functions related to the general ledger month-end close.
Utilize financial reporting software to create, maintain, and update reporting templates and data queries.
Analyze financial statements, costs and equity transactions, prepare financial statements and provide general accounting support.
Ensure proper accounting treatment for various projects.
Assist with the preparation of quarterly financial statements.
Identify and research technical accounting and reporting matters, accounting principles and financial reporting rules.
Assist with explaining to management the financial performance of the projects.
Compile financial statements and footnote schedule in accordance with annual audits.
Support audit requests from external auditors and key stakeholders within the organization.
Ensure reported financial results are completed timely and accurately.
On an as-needed basis, support the Tax department.
Assist with special projects and additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Accounting.
CPA and/or Masters in accounting preferred.
2+ years of experience in general accounting.
Knowledge of ERP accounting system.
Public accounting experience preferred.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficient with Microsoft Office applications including performing financial and analytical computations in Excel.
