Location:
Princeton, NJ - Hybrid work schedules; 2 days onsite, 3 days remote.

THE JOB
The primary role of the Senior Accountant, Insurance Accounting is to provide professional accounting work related to tasks listed below but not limited to:

Responsibilities :

General Ledger accounting management:

Maintain accounting controls and follow accounting policies and procedures.
Reconciled General Ledger accounts to parent company and/or subsidiary records on a monthly basis.
Monthly, Quarterly and Annual accounting reporting.

Technical accounting:

Calculation of technical provisions and reinsurance, confirming treaty compliance, intercompany reconciliation and settlements
Prepare various analysis needed for Statutory Reporting
Quarterly reporting of technical results to Group packages

Auxiliary accounts management:

Ensure monthly, quarterly and yearend closings
Assist in & complete Audit Requests
Create & update SOP's

Analytical Accounting:

Set the parameters for providing useful analysis to management.
Edit reports highlighting key indicators and useful ratios.

Risk & Compliance:

Ensure compliance with regulations and procedures as laid down by Coface and external regulators.
Continuously adhere to and respect the IT Security policies.

THE CANDIDATE

Education:

4 years degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.

Experience:
Minimum 2 years' experience in insurance/reinsurance professional accounting work

Job Skills:
Ability to handle numerous deadlines simultaneously

Oracle Financials experience is desirable

Well organized, team player and supportive of change

Computer literacy:
Highly Proficient in Excel

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Amazing ability to present findings clearly and briefly

Job Type:
Full-time

Pay:
$70, $80,000.00 per year
