    Job Title: Proposal Coordinator

    Location: Wallingford, CT

    Our client, a global Architecture and Design Firm, is looking to hire a Proposal Coordinator to support the Northeastern Regional Office out of Wallingford, CT.

    • Looking for an entry level person with strength in Graphic Design.
    • Looking for a 4 year Bachelor Degreed individual with either Graphic Design, English or Communications Major (Preference would be Graphic Design/Creative since that is where the team is lacking the most).
    • Experience with In-Design.

    This position would work with the 2 existing Sr Proposal Strategists to create Proposals from large intense RFPs to smaller pricing sheets. Depending on the person's strength, they will be given specific certain areas of the RFP to complete.

    The Proposal Coordinator is responsible for assisting with the development of the proposal plan, the Request For Proposal (RFP) release, and the process including end game, and checkmate for assigned business development proposals to obtain work for the company. This position will assist proposal development efforts in collaboration with business development and project management leadership to develop distinctive value propositions that enhance our clients' competitive positions.

    • Assist with developing and documenting the proposal plan, draft storyboards, development of proposal/win strategy, proposal team assignments, and initial proposal management plan.
    • Assist with team review and adjust marketing materials in response to review results and requests.
    • Assist with the review of the go/no-go decision, participate in the official proposal kickoff meeting, and assist in the development of graphics and visuals.
    • Support the development of metrics such as; Change orders, safety, budget, schedule, diversity goals, and community involvement activities.
    • Attend professional association meetings, trade shows, and conferences; and build a professional network. Assist with the setup and preparation of the booth.

    Job Requirements:

    • Bachelor's Degree in marketing, communications, business administration, or related field. Applicable years of experience may be substituted for degree requirements.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
    • Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop experience preferred.
    • Excellent communication skills: verbal, technical writing, and creative writing as well as proofreading and editing.
    • High level of attention to detail.
