Overview:
Kimley-Horn has an opportunity for a motivated Senior Project Manager, Practice Builder, to expand our Electric Vehicles (EV) practice in Jacksonville, Florida

Responsibilities:
Lead the design and analysis of complex electrical systems for EV projects

Areas of focus could be Fleet Conversion, Electric Utilities, Municipal EV and Readiness Planning, Transit Agencies, Airports and Seaports, State Agencies and Municipalities, Commercial and Industrial Entities, Commercial Developers, and/or EV Developers.

Responsible for the review and development of design documents and reports, including electrical layouts, equipment schematics and block diagrams, electrical system calculations, and one-line diagrams
Daily interaction and collaboration on multi-disciplinary teams, with interaction across Kimley-Horn offices
Prepare project specifications, electrical construction cost estimates, and proposals, supporting the growth of EV service areas in the local market and across the country

Leadership responsibilities include:
Our Project Managers/Practice Builders manage their projects profitably, transition work to qualified staff, grow and mentor staff, and act as a positive leader and mentor
The successful candidate will be given a great deal of autonomy to lead, direct, and grow their business

Qualifications:
10 years+ of relevant experience managing EV projects
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
Registered Professional Engineer (P.E.) license preferred
Firm understanding of the National Electrical Code, National Electrical Safety Code, IEEE and ANSI Standards
Ability to effectively communicate positively at all levels of the organization
Ability to manage and mentor staff, and direct resources effectively in a positive manner
Demonstrated ability to manage Electric Vehicles projects profitably
