- Oversee accounting activities for GAAP and policy compliance.
- Supervise accurate weekly payroll processing.
- Lead monthly close process, approve journal entries, review reconciliations.
- Manage tax filings at state, local, and federal levels.
- Prepare, review, issue financial statements following GAAP.
- Lead annual third-party financial audits, handle financial statement disclosures.
- Establish, maintain effective internal controls, and processes.
- Create an internal audit program for control assessment.
- Supervise accounting system (NetSuite) and associated applications.
- Evaluate new technical accounting developments, advise actions.
- Support internal operational and compliance programs.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field; CPA preferred.
- Minimum 7 years accounting experience, including 3 years in team management.
- Experience leading annual third-party financial audits.
- NGO/non-profit or manufacturing industry experience preferred.
- Proficient in GAAP, internal controls, financial planning, budgeting, and reporting.
- Strong communication, interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, accounting software (NetSuite).
- Occasional travel to Massachusetts office.
