    Leader Automotive Group is a wholly owned subsidiary of AutoCanada, a publicly traded company. Leader Automotive is AutoCanada's first footprint into the U.S. market and we currently have 10 dealerships consisting of 23 different franchises and over 750 employees. We have a strong presence in the Chicagoland area with 8 dealerships and 2 more located in central Illinois. We are searching for talented individuals as we begin a new and exciting legacy into the U.S. market.

    Leader Automotive Group has a rare opportunity for a General Sales Manager at our state-of-the-art dealership. We are experiencing high growth and are searching for a candidate that can lead our sales teams. You'll be working with some of the best franchises in the business Mercedes Benz, Audi, Subaru, Volvo, VW, & Lincoln. We will invest in the right candidate and we are looking for the right candidate to invest their skills and experience with us. You must be the one to:
    • Attract, train, motivate, and maintain effective and successful sales and finance teams
    • Ability to drive sales, revenue, and growth with digital capabilities
    • Drive employee and customer retention
    • Lead from the "front line" and be engaged with all retail operations
    • Set benchmarks and accomplish goals
    • Consistently produce sustainable results.
    Responsibilities
    • Ensure that the dealership meets its new and used vehicle sales quotas and its objectives on a daily, monthly, and annual basis, through personal engagement.
    • Ensure that the dealership reaches its profit objective on a monthly and annual basis.
    • Accomplish the above objectives through planning, organizing, coordinating, and managing the activities of the dealership operations.
    • Focus on customer and employee development and retention.
    • Develop and maintain a good working relationship with lenders and manufacturer partners.
    • Ensure that the sales team communicates with clients utilizing various methods such as follow-up phone calls, letters, email marketing, etc.
    • Establish goals for Sales Consultants
    • Build and maintain full knowledge of and enthusiasm for the products and services of the dealership.
    • Maintain an accurate website vehicle inventory on a daily basis
    • Coach Sales & Finance Teams to develop monthly and annual goals and objectives
    • Achieve planned unit sales volume by offering balanced and representative vehicle inventories
    • Oversee the process of appraising, reconditioning, wholesaling and merchandising new and used vehicle inventory.
    • Achieve assigned profit goals on a monthly basis
    • Lead by example and ensure that the core values of the Company are encompassed in behavior at all times.
    • Guide, train, and mentor associates in an effort to develop and retain
    Qualifications
    • 4 years of Automotive Sales Manager experience (preferred)
    • Great communication skills; both written and verbal
    • Proven track-record of results
    • High energy, self-starter
    • Experience with bank finance
    • Knowledge of CRM and DMS systems
