    Regional Sales Manager – Dallas, TX

    A world leading electronic parts manufacturer is looking for a Regional Sales Manager to join their sales team in Dallas, TX. The Regional Sales Manager (RSM) is responsible for managing and executing growth strategies to increase market penetration of the company's products within the Dallas market. This is a high-visibility role, reporting directly to the Global Director of Sales.

    The ideal candidate has a dynamic, energetic, and persuasive individual with a 'Hunter' mindset to primarily focus on territorial growth and business development, as well as introducing new product lines and options to existing customers. You will need sales experience in a manufacturing environment and will work closely with distributors and manufacturers' reps on a regular basis.

    Responsibilities

    • Strives to exceed assigned monthly, quarterly, and annual regional sales goals.
    • Plans and manages all sales efforts for their assigned region.
    • Maintains ongoing contact with all major accounts, while also developing new targets within.
    • Monitors all rep firm activity within their assigned region and provides counsel and guidance that lead to successful outcomes.
    • Collaborates closely with the Sales Leadership Team to establish the Annual Regional Budget and other Region-Specific Reports and Forecasts.
    • Manages their own sales performance and visibility through the disciplined use of the CRM.
    • Very driven, strategic, and proactive in their approach to building out a new customer base.
    • Regular discussions with Internal Operations Staff to suggest updates and improvements in design, pricing structure, or general policy.

    Qualifications:

    • At least 3-5 years of electronic manufacturing-specific sales and business development experience as an individual contributor.
    • At least 2 years of experience working closely with Distributors and Manufacturers' Reps.
    • Ability to travel 50-70% of the time, mostly local and sometimes nationwide, is a must.
    • Bachelors degree preferred; open to Associate's degree + proven sales experience.
    • Current experience securing new accounts and customers, as well as product line expansion with existing customer base.
    • High-energy self-starter with strategic plans in place to expand our reach. Ideally someone who prefers to work independently and will fill their workday with new client interactions.
    • Excellent verbal, written, and computer/smartphone skills are a must.
