    Description

    We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced litigation secretary to join our client's team based in San Francisco. In this role, you will provide complex trial litigation secretarial and clerical support to assigned attorneys. The ideal candidate will excel in executive support, ensuring client satisfaction across all aspects of the position.

    Responsibilities

    • Draft, revise, and finalize correspondence, pleadings, court forms, and other legal documents
    • Conduct conflicts checks and open new client matters
    • Assist with discovery document drafting and service
    • Coordinate deposition arrangements and trial preparation
    • Manage calendars and relevant dates
    • Process invoices, organize files, and prepare expense reports
    • Arrange travel, meetings, and remote court appearances
    • Handle state, civil, complex federal, and appellate filings
    • Maintain physical and electronic attorney files
    • Attend training sessions as required

    Qualifications

    • High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred
    • 5-7 years of litigation desk experience in a law firm setting
    • Strong ability to work through complex document markups
    • Exceptional multitasking and time management skills
    • Proficiency in Federal and State court electronic filing systems
    • Knowledge of court rules on state and federal levels
    • Excellent communication skills
    • Minimum typing speed of 70 wpm
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, Adobe, and Outlook
    • Experience with time entry and document management software
    • Ability to work well in a team environment and under pressure
