- Monthly Budget Creation, Reporting and Monitoring
- Assist in the development of operating and capital budgets
- Review and projection of spending against budget
- Financial analysis and reporting while maintaining multi-year forecasting model
- Account and bank Reconciliations
- General ledger account reconciliations
- Record journal entries for gift transmittals
- Wire transfers
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- 3-5 years of experience in Accounting and budgeting process
- Experience with Financial Edge NXT or similar ERP and the use of budget modules.
- Experience with Blackbaud NXT preferred and expected over time.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Suite. Advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent communication skills

Summary:
Vaco Education Client has an opening for an Accountant/Budget Analyst who will be reporting to the Director of Finance. This is a blended role in the Finance department and this individual will budget managers in the prepare operating and capital budgets. Client is offering excellent pay and comprehensive benefits.

Education and Experience:
Job type - 5 days onsite for 6 months (even through summer) then hybrid to one day remote --- M-F: 8:30am-4:30am
