    Accountant/Budget Analyst

    $75,000-$80,000/yr.

    Summary:
    Vaco Education Client has an opening for an Accountant/Budget Analyst who will be reporting to the Director of Finance.

    This is a blended role in the Finance department and this individual will budget managers in the prepare operating and capital budgets.

    Client is offering excellent pay and comprehensive benefits.

    Duties -

    Monthly Budget Creation, Reporting and MonitoringAssist in the development of operating and capital budgetsReview and projection of spending against budgetFinancial analysis and reporting while maintainingmulti-year forecasting modelAccount and bank ReconciliationsGeneral ledger account reconciliationsRecord journal entries for gift transmittalsWire transfers


    Education and Experience:


    Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance3-5 years of experience in Accounting and budgeting processExperience with Financial Edge NXT or similar ERP and the use of budget modules.

    Experience with Blackbaud NXT preferred and expected over time.
    Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Suite. Advanced Excel skills.
    Excellent communication skills

    Job type - 5 days onsite for 6 months (even through summer) thenhybrid to one day remote
    M-F: 8:30am-4:30am
