I have 20+ years of experience in a variety of IT roles including systems administrator/architect/analyst, automation/integration engineer, and software/web developer.
To be successful in this field you have to be passionate, engaged, and be willing to dedicate personal time to learning because technology is always changing.
I spend a lot of my personal time studying (working on an MSIT degree currently) different topics, engineering home automation solutions, and developing my skill set in other areas to stay head of industry trends.
