The training profession of electronics technician is recognized by the state. The training lasts for 3 years.The following skills and knowledge are at least included in the vocational training in the field of energy distribution systems/networks:
- Structure and organization of the company, basics of vocational training, occupational safety, environmental protection, labor and collective bargaining law
- Production of mechanical parts
- Making of mechanical connections
- Assembly and wiring of mechanical, electromechanical and electrical components into assemblies
- Preparation, laying and connection of cables
- Measurement of direct and alternating current values as well as testing of components and assemblies
- Assembly and installation of functionally defined system components
- Testing, measuring and adjusting of assemblies and devices
- Assembly and wiring, as well as installation of assemblies and systems in energy technology
- Measurement of non-electrical values and testing of functions of measurement, control and regulation systems
- Commissioning of assemblies, devices and functionally defined system components
- Assembly and wiring of operating equipment and switching devices for energy technology systems
- Installation of energy distribution systems and lighting, control and regulation technology systems.
