Duration of training: 3.5 years

Start of training:
Last week of summer vacation in Rhineland-Palatinate

Learning content and tasks:

Manual and machine cutting, filing, sawing, chiseling, drilling, and turning
Joining of workpieces through soldering, welding, and gluing
Processing of pipes, sheets, and profiles
Reading drawings, creating templates
Installation and maintenance of supply systems

Vocational school: 1.5 times per week

Vocational school focus during training:
Mathematics, technology, and technical drawing

Intermediate examination:
Before the end of the 2nd year of training

Final examination:
Written and oral
