The Media and Public Communications Office (MPCO) includes the Media Relations Unit, the Creative Services Unit and the Events Unit.
The MPCO collaborates to create clear, concise communications campaigns that tell the CEC story to internal and external stakeholders.Our work increases understanding and awareness, inspires action and empowers decision-making to advance the state's climate and clean energy goals.
Under the general direction of the Staff Services Manager II (Media Relations and Events Manager) the Staff Services Manager (SSM)
I supports the California Energy Commission's (CEC) overall communications strategy by overseeing the Media and Public Communications Office Events Unit.
