At the Institute for Manufacturing Technology and Machine Tools (IFW), a position as a student assistant (m/f/d) is available for the topic "Machining of Implants" (23 hours/month) at the earliest possible date.

The employment is based on 23 hours/month, which will be scheduled in consultation with the supervisor. The position is initially limited to 3 months, with the possibility of extension.


The advertised position offers the opportunity to gain first insights into scientific work and a comprehensive view of various aspects of manufacturing technology.

The IFW offers a modern research infrastructure, future-oriented topics, and a large industrial network


Tasks

The tasks include support in the following areas:

  • Participation in experimental investigations
  • Measurement of surfaces with modern microscopes
  • Data analysis

Requirements

  • Valid enrollment at a German university
  • Valid residence permit
  • Good knowledge of German in spoken and written form
In case of equal qualifications, severely disabled persons will be given preference.
