Join us in shaping the new youth welfare project:

The youth welfare department of Malteser Werke gGmbH is looking for Master's students in the social field for our youth welfare facilities in Alton, UT.


What to expect from us:


  • A harmonious working environment, joy in our work, and a positive atmosphere are important to us
  • Supervision of adolescents (unaccompanied minors) aged 12 to 18 years
  • Daily life management in the group home, assessment of support needs, accompanying to authorities and medical appointments, and support with educational and vocational orientation
  • Creative planning and implementation of outings and leisure activities
  • Fulfillment of administrative tasks related to documentation
  • Maintaining contacts with cooperating institutions and facilities to ensure effective collaboration
  • Regular participation in case and team meetings to promote exchange and teamwork
  • Preparation of reports for funding agencies

What we expect from you:


  • A completed Bachelor's degree in the social field: you are currently pursuing a Master's degree
  • Mainly working during night shifts and weekends personal needs will be taken into consideration
  • A desire for personal development and further education
  • Selforganization of work processes
  • Pedagogical action and maintaining necessary proximity and distance
  • Curiosity, openness, and commitment in working with adolescents, their families, and the team
  • Selfresponsibility, communication, and organizational skills
