    Technical Recruiter Career Area: Business Services at Barge Design Solutions

    Barge Design Solutions is a well-known medium-to-large size firm specializing in Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) projects, recognized for our innovative initiatives and dedication to excellence.

    We are on the lookout for an experienced Senior Technical Recruiter with a background in corporate, staffing agency, and technical recruitment to join our vibrant HR team. Your skills will be crucial in identifying and acquiring top talent for our AEC projects.

    As a Senior Technical Recruiter at Barge Design Solutions, you will play a key role in recruiting essential positions within our organization. Working closely with hiring managers and department heads, you will leverage your expertise in corporate, staffing agency, and technical recruitment to identify, engage, and onboard top-tier talent for our AEC projects.

    • Key Responsibilities:
    • Talent Sourcing: Use various sourcing strategies like industry networks, job boards, social media, staffing agencies, and direct outreach to attract highly qualified AEC professionals.
    • Candidate Assessment: Conduct thorough interviews and evaluations to assess candidates' qualifications, technical skills, and fit within the AEC sector.
    • Collaboration: Work closely with hiring managers and department heads to define role requirements, create detailed job descriptions, and understand team needs.
    • Talent Pipeline: Proactively build and manage a talent pipeline to meet current and future staffing needs in the AEC industry.
    • Data-Driven Insights: Analyze industry trends and market conditions to improve the hiring process and provide valuable reports to company leadership.
    • Compliance: Ensure all recruitment practices comply with relevant employment laws and industry standards in the AEC sector.
    • Candidate Experience: Enhance the candidate experience by giving prompt feedback, maintaining transparent communication, and ensuring a seamless interview process.
    • Networking: Build relationships with AEC professionals, participate in industry events, and stay informed about the latest developments in the AEC sector.

    Education & Experience Qualifications:

    A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field is preferred. With over 5 years of experience as a Senior Recruiter, ideally in corporate, staffing agency, and technical recruitment within the AEC industry. Knowledge of HR software and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), particularly Cornerstone on Demand, is a plus. Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and the ability to engage with technical professionals are essential. Strong organizational and time-management skills are also required.
