- Work with portfolio companies in industrial technology and life sciences to prepare for customer calls (e.g. review sales decks, identify relevant prospective customers, etc.).
- Develop network of relevant industrial and life science corporates that could purchase products from Anzu Partners portfolio companies.
- Manage and track corporate introductions (e.g. ensuring pipeline tracking, coordinating process matters, etc.).
- A minimum of 5 years of experience with sales/business development within a venture firm, early-stage technology company, or selling to early-stage technology companies.
- Experience selling products with emerging technology companies, particularly in hardware, materials, manufacturing systems, or life sciences.
- Strong established network with relevant corporates in industrials and life sciences, particularly in the United States.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Strong PowerPoint skills.
- $100k - $150k base (depending on experience), with an additional commission structure.

About the role
We are looking for an experienced Business Development professional to join our Business Services team, working with our portfolio companies as they seek introductions to potential corporate customers.
The role will support the Business Development function within the Business Services team. This role is within a national VC/PE firm and is an opportunity to grow and utilize your network to build the next generation of transformative technology companies. This role currently reports to a Principal. This position can be based out of Boston, San Diego, San Francisco, or Washington, DC. Select remote geographies may also be considered.
