Doctors of the World Germany is the German section of the international humanitarian organization Médecins du Monde/Doctors of the World.

Our mission is to ensure that all people everywhere can exercise their right to health through medical assistance and advocacy work.

The International Programs department currently consists of a team of seven members, responsible for both the financing and administrative implementation of projects within the network, as well as the management of humanitarian aid projects implemented by Doctors of the World.

We are currently seeking a
Health Advisor to join our team at our Munich location.

The Health Advisor will support the team at the headquarters, as well as project teams in Ukraine and Ethiopia, in developing and implementing high-quality programs in the field of basic healthcare.

They will also represent Doctors of the World in the German and international professional community, as well as within the MdM network.

This is a
full-time position (40 hours per week), initially for a period of 2 years with the possibility of extension.

YOUR FUTURE RESPONSIBILITIES

Project Development and Intervention Logic

Support project teams and responsible country coordinators in developing high-quality projects in the field of basic healthcare, such as analyzing health-related data and providing expert advice on impact logic and relevant indicators.

Contribute to the definition/revision of Doctors of the World's strategies in existing and new country programs in line with the organization's vision and principles, as well as existing national/international plans and standards.
Work closely with Doctors of the World teams
