    POSITION: FOOD AND BEVERAGE MANAGER (Bar Focused)

    LOCATION: San Francisco, CA

    HOURS: FT, must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, when needed. Due to the cyclical nature of the theatre & hospitality industry, managers may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the three the Venues.

    COMPENSATION: $65,000-75,0000, based on experience

    ABOUT THE POSITION

    Reports to Area F&B Director. BroadwaySF is looking for a motivated and creative beverage manager to oversee and optimize all aspects of our beverage operations. As the manager, you will ensure exceptional guest experiences while effectively forecasting, planning, and managing F&B orders, staff, and finances. Your primary objective will be to maximize sales and revenue by consistently meeting and exceed customer expectations, fostering employee engagement, and maintaining a strong focus on quality and efficiency. Managing all F&B and day-to-day operations within budgeted guidelines and to the highest standard.

    PEOPLE, PLACES, and THINGS

    • hosting live performances ranging from musicals to speaking engagements for (3) theatres.
    • Support all F&B hiring and training procedures.
    • Support human resource activities
      1. Promote inter-company business best practices.
      2. Daily communication with the Area F&B Director.
      3. Conduct training programs on the required job functions with criteria expected and department orientation with new hires.
      4. Conduct ongoing training with existing associates, following SOP manual.
    • Promote guest satisfaction through the operation.
    • Promote creativity and innovation with the staff
    • Support business strategies aligned with ATG North America's mission, vision, and values.
    • Maintain complete knowledge of correct maintenance and use of equipment. Use equipment only as intended.
    • Gain and maintain familiarity with all Venue services/features and local attractions/activities to respond to guest inquiries accurately.
    • Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of assigned work areas.
    • Assist food & beverage associates with their job functions to ensure exceptional service to guests.
    • Performs related duties as required.
    • Continuous evaluation and improvement of the operations.
    • To be an integral part of the development of future projects in the company.

    EXPERIENCE and SKILLS

    • Must have at least 3 years of progressive combined experience in a Venue food and beverage department or in free-standing restaurants
    • Must be able to handle basic office equipment and be computer proficient.
    • Must be able to speak, read and write English fluently
    • Must have effective organization, guest relations, and oral and written communication skills.
    • Must have ability to obtain ServSafe certification.
    • Must have RBS certification or ability to obtain.
    • Minimum of 21 years of age to serve alcoholic beverages.

    • Is polite, friendly, and helpful to guests, management, and fellow employees.
