    BALTIMORE COUNTY PUBLIC SCHOOLS

    Position: Staff Development Teacher

    About the Position and the Company: Join our team at Baltimore County Public Schools as a Staff Development Teacher. In this role, you will be working under the direction of the school principal to provide equitable learning experiences for students, teachers, and staff. You will support professional learning through non-evaluative coaching and facilitate job-embedded professional development aligned with the School Progress Plan.

    Responsibilities:
    • Review and monitor School Progress Plan progress
    • Engage teachers and staff in collaborative practice
    • Create conducive learning environments
    • Instruct classes, maintaining a safe environment
    • Implement instructional programs aligned with system goals
    • Facilitate professional learning opportunities
    • Communicate the value of Teacher Development Plan
    • Support creating universally designed learning environments
    • Assist in improving student achievement
    • Allocate time for professional development
    • Integrate technology in curriculum
    • Model innovation and flexibility
    • Perform other assigned duties
    Requirements: Bachelor's degree, 3 years teaching experience, experience in professional development, eligibility for Maryland certification.
