- Prompt and regular attendance at work.
- Collect and account for all Patient Care Reports daily.
- Prepare PCRs for processing which may include tearing, separating, folding and taping EKG strips.
- Identify any incomplete, missing or erroneous information on PCR or in CAD system and facilitate correction prior to delivery to the county.
- Interact professionally with other departments and outside entities.
- Participate in departmental and company meetings as required.
- Performs other such duties as may be required.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Good interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated
- Able to multi-task and work without direct supervision
- Excellent computer and typing skills.
- Medical Experience is a plus.
- Occasionally: Walking inside, carrying no greater than 25 pounds, kneeling, stooping, bending, leaning.
- Frequently: Hearing/listening, clear speech, typing, computer work.
- Constantly: Sitting, seeing.

Job Title: MEDICAL DATA ENTRY/DOCUMENTATION REVIEWER
JOB SUMMARY
Sunstar Paramedics is seeking a medical data entry / document reviewer to work in our patient billing services department. This is an entry level position. This position is responsible for auditing EMS transport documentation and preparing it for patient and insurance billing. Excellent clerical and computer skills are a must. A knowledge of medical terminology is ideal but not required. Perform other such duties, as may be required.
