Blue Sky Innovative Solutions is seeking for a qualified
Human Resources Analyst I/II. The Human Resources Analyst I/II provides entry-level human resources/administrative work supporting our government customer assisting with past performance appraisal programs, training development and coordination, and onboarding and separating employees.

POSTION SUMMARY - The Human Resources Analyst I/II position performs high level professional administrative work designed to support staff members with our government customer. This position requires the ability to exercise judgment and discretion in dealing with our customer's employees and retirees and to maintain a high degree of confidentiality on work assignments. Work is performed under general supervision and is reviewed for accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with the policies and procedures.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS, DUTIES, AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Administrative Support 10%

  • Communications are timely and accurately transmitted to appropriate staff members.
  • Assists in the review and processing of documentation routed from the Division for approval and proofreads documents for grammatical and spelling errors.
  • Research files for histories upon request from staff/departmental liaisons and external customers.
  • Assists in the scheduling of internal and external meetings with vendors for Leadership.
  • May attend meetings to transcribe key developments and followup items and meeting notes are submitted to ensure proper documentation.
  • Provides prompt notification of any changes to scheduled meetings.

Retirement Support Services 45%

  • Effectively communicates to ensure that queries are addressed in an accurate and timely fashion.
  • Assists with recording accurately and promptly telephone messages.
  • Assists with accessing the portal.
  • Assists with researching Information and prepares correspondence within established time frames.
  • Accept incoming documentation and deliver to the appropriate Staff member for processing.
  • Reviews audit reports and SAP to ensure the proper plan enrollment for active employee.

Deferred Compensation Program Support 45%

  • Tracks questions and requests related to the service provider Transition process and identifies trends in employee requests.
  • Maintains knowledge of 457(b) deferred compensation program/activities.
  • Assists in the input of new enrollments in the HRIS.
  • Assists employees with how to navigate making changes to payroll contributions.
  • Logs incoming forms and followup with employees to request any missing data for incomplete forms.
  • Catalog statistics as requested and maintains appropriate records of data relevant to supporting activities related to the Deferred Compensation program.

  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must have at least 23 years of progressively responsible professionallevel administrative, technical, and analytical human resources management work experience
  • Must possess skills that demonstrate excellent customer service, organization, attention to detail, and ability to practice sound judgment.
  • Must be selfmotivated with outstanding oral and written communication skill s
  • Must have the ability to work as a team.
  • Must have experience in establishing and maintaining effective and confidential relationships.
  • Must be able to take notes for agendas and other information for meetings to make sure they are accurate, current, complete, and relevant; gathered with reasonable speed and appropriately organized.
  • Must have experience preparing comprehensive reports.
  • Must have demonstrate active listening, comprehension of information, and use of logic and reasoning.
  • Must have multitasking, organizational and time management skills.
  • Can handle confidential matters with utmost integrity.

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university

LENGTH OF PERFORMANCE

  • A minimum of 5 months

HOURS OF OPERATION

  • 8:30 am 5:00 pm

PHYSICAL, MENTAL, AND ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS

  • Must have the use of sensory skills to effectively communicate and interact with other employees and the public using the telephone and personal contact as normally defined by the ability to see, read, talk, hear, handle or feel objects and controls. Physical capability to effectively use and operate various items of office related equipment, such as, but not limited to a, personal computer, calculator, copier, and fax machine. No significant climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, and repetitive motions.
