    Position Description


    The Recruitment Coordinator will the coordinate the placement Election workers and support them with all pre-election duties such as attending training and picking up supplies.

    Will heavily use email and phone to support thousands of election workers while updating Microsoft based applications and internal management systems with tracking all correspondence with election workers.


    Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Customer service with heavy phone calls and emails
    • Supporting recruits with registering for training, finding clerks, getting information about positions and signing up for compensation
    • Updating Excel spreadsheets, Election Management System and other applications.
    • Performing mail merges
    • Ability to Multi-task in extremely busy environment

    Requirements


    All applicants must register and take the HRRM Typing Skills Test and score a typing speed of 40 W.P.M and 80% accuracy.

    Education and Experience:

    • High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent from an accredited educational institution.
    • Experience working in an administrative office role.
    • Microsoft Word and Excel work experience.

    Knowledge, Skill, and Abilities:

    • Good verbal and written communication skills a must
    • Customer Service skills required
    • Typing of 40+ WPM required
    • Must be knowledgeable in basic computer and phone functions
    • Able to prioritize, multi-task and complete tasks within deadlines
    • Must be able to perform well without in-person supervision, within expected work hours and maintain good performance

    • Click on "Apply" to submit your request for testing
    • You will receive a test invitation and instructions via e-mail within 48 hours
    • You will have no more than 5 calendar days to access and complete testing
    • Your score will be automatically uploaded to your application
    • The test may be taken once every 30 days
    • Most recent test scores are retained for up to 6 months
    Position Type and Typical Hours of Work:


    • Temporary Full-time
    • Anticipated Start date: January 25, 2024 Anticipated End date: June 14, 2024
    Monday - Friday | 8:00 A.M. - 5:00 P.M.


    Salary:
    * $17.00 Hourly


    • Based on 26 Pay Periods

    Location:

    • 1001 Preston (first day at 9:00 A.M.) - Training will be in office
    • Afterward, position will work from home
    Employment may be contingent on passing a drug screen and meeting other standards.

    Understands the different database concepts and structures and is familiar with data validation and is able to create a simple presentation in PowerPoint, run it, and print it.


    Entry Level:

    A person with this level of skills has the ability to open, create, save and modify documents in Word, send and receive email in Outlook and create spreadsheets in Excel.

    Format documents for printing, comfortable using the printer menu to preview documents.

    Has ability to change the font, the margins, insert or delete pages and use the built-in spellchecker and grammar check.
