THE POSITION:
Are you looking for a job where you can demonstrate your expertise in repairing building structures? Mifflin County is currently seeking a Maintenance Repairman 2 at the Department of Transportation (DOT) who will be responsible for working on roofs, doors, fabricating temporary partitions, and constructing forms.
DESCRIPTION OF WORK:
The role involves utilizing carpentry skills to repair building structures, fabricate partitions, and operate power tools.
Additionally, tasks include painting, masonry work, plumbing fixture installation, electrical circuitry, diagnostic testing, welding, and steel erection for construction projects.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Fulltime employment
- Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday
- Friday, with 30minute lunch.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY:
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- Two years of experience as a Maintenance Repairman 1;
or: - Four years of experience in building and plant maintenance work, which has involved at least two of the building, electrical, or mechanical trades;
or: - Any equivalent combination of experience and training that affords the applicant with the Required Knowledges, Skills, and Abilities.
Special Requirement:
- This position requires possession of a valid Pennsylvania Class C Driver's License.
Additional Requirements:
- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
Preferred Qualification (not required):
- Certified welder in accordance with AWS and PENNDOT specifications
