    Job DescriptionThe Windfall is partnering with an Artificial Intelligence Biotechnology Firm as they are seeking to hire a strong, highly-motivated Human Resources People Partner to play a critical role in aligning HR strategies with business objectives, fostering a positive work environment, and driving organizational growth and success. You will serve as a trusted advisor to leaders and managers, providing expert guidance on all HR-related matters. This role reports directly to the Head of People. This is working at their Union Square, Manhattan office. This firm is building a computational pipeline combining state-of-the-art physics based modeling and machine learning to revolutionize drug discovery and development. Working together with some of the world's leading biopharmaceutical companies, this firm designs tests and optimizes novel therapies to treat some of the world's most difficult diseases. This firm is seeking an experienced HRBP to join their team and help drive the organizations HR operations forward. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a company that is currently entering a rapid period of transformational change and growth. The successful candidate will be highly organized, resourceful and a confident collaborator. This is a hybrid role working in the office a minimum of 3 days/week from 9:00am-6:00pm with the flexibility for overtime as it is required.


    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Partner closely with C-Suite and Business Leaders to understand their objectives and develop HR strategies that support organizational goals.
    • Provide consultation and coaching to managers on performance management, employee relations, talent development, and organizational effectiveness.
    • Lead and facilitate talent management processes, including performance reviews, talent assessments, succession planning, and employee development initiatives.
    • Collaborate with the HR team to design and implement HR programs and policies that promote employee engagement, diversity, equity, and inclusion.
    • Drive employee retention efforts through proactive communication, recognition programs, and initiatives to enhance the employee experience.
    • Manage benefits administration, including healthcare, dental, vision, and other employee benefits programs, ensuring compliance and providing guidance to employees.
    • Oversee payroll processes, working closely with finance to ensure accuracy and timeliness in payroll processing.
    • Administer the company's 401(k) plan, including enrollment, contribution management, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
    • Stay informed about HR best practices, employment laws, and industry trends to ensure compliance and mitigate risks.
    • Partner with recruitment to identify talent needs, hiring (e.g. sourcing), participate in the selection process, and support onboarding and integration efforts.

    REQUIREMENTS

    • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
    • 3+ years of experience as an HRBP or in a similar HR role, preferably in a fastpaced, dynamic environment.
    • Strong knowledge of HR principles, practices, and employment laws.
    • Proven ability to build strong relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
    • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problemsolving skills.
    • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
    • Strategic thinking and business acumen with a resultsoriented mindset.
    • SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification is a plus.
