    Description

    Support marketing and communications discipline initiatives; including web development, advertising, public relations, internal and external communications, market research, competitive intelligence, and creative collateral in order to meet organizational objectives.
    Qualifications

    REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

    Required Work Experience

    • College-level coursework related to marketing, communications or other related technical field
    Required Education
    • High-School Diploma or GED in general field of study
    • Two years attendance at an accredited school pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in related field of study
    • GPA of 3.0 or higher
    ESSENTIAL job functions AND RESPONSIBILITIES
    • Collaborate with all marketing discipline areas and other divisions to accomplish goals and objectives
    • Participate on work teams, contribute to projects and initiatives, and perform various tasks
    • Expand and develop knowledge through exposure to the roles within the marketing team
    • Assist with development of marketing materials and programs
    • Review, update and maintain marketing materials and communications and documentation
    • Compile information and provide recommendations for improvement
    • Assist in writing stories across a range of channels and web portals primarily for external and internal brand communications and support of key company initiatives and campaigns
    • Track and manage communications and campaign projects using Gantt charts and other tracking / communication tools.
    • Support marketing and communications discipline initiative and compliance
    • Perform all other duties as assigned
    REQUIRED COMPETENCIES

    Required Job Skills
    • Basic Microsoft Office skills (including PPT and Excel)
    • Basic project management and time-management
    • Strong organizational skill and attention to detail and quality
    • Ability to lift 50 pounds
    Required Professional Competencies
    • Work effectively within a team environment
    • Advanced oral and written communication skills
    • Intermediate writing and presentation skills
    • Self-motivated, good organizational skills, detail-oriented, ability to prioritize, multi-task and meet deadlines
