You're Not Always Alone
I went to get a library card today so I can use the computers at the local library. There is a time limit you can use them and are set up a little different than the college in Modesto. It makes me think I got spoiled using the college computers.
When I was online there were articles about what Mr. Trump is doing. He seems to be good at drawing media attention and staying in the spotlight. From what I read, he’s having trouble working with congress. It doesn’t look like anyone in American Politics wants it to look like they’re negotiating with the man.
I guess that’s why no one is saying anything about his Executive actions. It looks like that’s the only way he can get anything done. Anything he does is all on him. Congress is. just going to let him be The Fall Guy or The Bad Guy in the public eye.
YOU POOR BASTARD !!
I also went through some of my old lessons in my Guest Blogging course site. Since I started my own blog instead of trying to write for other people or try to start out writing for a site like The Huffington Post, there’s a whole section on making a blog pitch that doesn’t really apply to me. I still read through it to figure out how to use the information that’s there. It’s what I have to work with.
Besides, I’m still kind of a new guy at blogging.
Since I can’t do labor jobs any more, it helps me stay busy while I’m waiting for the next college semester to start and between talking to county case workers about housing.
The first week I was in Seattle a guy recognized me from Anchorage. After talking to him for a few minutes he told me about a Transitional Housing place that didn’t cost very much. So four days after I got here I was out of the shelter I was staying in.
I must still have friends, or at least a network, in Alaska. I guess I’m not alone. With any luck I’ll get my own place soon!
I didn’t have to start over again but it didn’t feel like I belonged back home anymore. Since I was here sixteen years looking out for my kids while they were growing up maybe this is where I fit in. After all I was here a long time.
Sometimes you just have to get out of where you’re at and do something different.
