Getting Back to Writing

Haven't written anything in my blog for a while. Really haven't wrote anything down to blog about either. I should probably start up again or get another hobby.

The customer service class at Goodwill is going well. One thing I learned is a lot of people think small talk is important. You don't really talk much on a fishing boat or construction site unless you have something to say. Sometimes someone yells, "Hey asshole, get to work!"

I doubt that counts as people skills in most places.

There was a class in the library about Fake News. It was a two hour workshop. I had to leave after an hour and took the information package to read later.

The guy teaching it talked about about sites that that are set up as satire news to prank your friends. He also talked about bots that people use to gather information and throw it together. Then they post it on the web and with a few pictures and get paid whenever someone clicks on the URL.

I read over the information and it looked interesting . I'll probably write a post about the class and information package once I check out the web pages the information comes from .
