Top Down/somewhere in between/Bottom Up

Top Down/somewhere in between/Bottom Up

Whichever way you focus if you don’t know your Who, What, How, Why and When it just might be that your Where is simply a messy smorgasbord.

Why are you doing Whatever it is you are doing When you are doing it and With Whom you do do What you do do?

Who is your customer?

What is your product?

How do you deliver it?

How do they want it delivered?

Are you relevant?

***I have modified this ever so slightly in order to get to the appropriate 200 word minimum necessary to ascertain the importance of Who, What, When, Where, Why and How as a means to elaborate effectively on the subject of top down, bottom up or somewhere in between and as such have decided to use a run on sentence in a non-grammatically correct approach to filling in the lines with amplifying prose that might help me make a point or two.

Jerry Fletcher Yep, my comment below on the "99 things you need to do to prepare for retirement" is what prompted me here. I have found Simon Sinek and his "Start with Why" to be of great interest. On the keeping things simple stupid front, does "huh?" mean the same thing as why? I keep hearing my wife utter that one word phrase often. And she is looking at me every time. Usually right after I do or say something profoundly mystifying. Mowing over a petunia, making a brilliant statement, standing in my yard scratching my head/beard and having a conversation with myself, making an irritatingly contrarian comment to her or the daughters.

Yes, and these questions are the keys to the locks of problems. Missing one of them means being unable to unlock a problem. Thank you Joel Anderson for the reminder. Why do I read buzzes authored by Joel? What value Joel's post offer? When to reach for buzzes by Joel? Answering these questions and the remaining ones will help mus find answers to many questions.

Joel, As my Mom used to say, "Don't go to complexifyin' Tain't gonna change the outcome no way. Stick with simple and if it has to do with people, start with why."

Thanks much. Agreed. I wrote this during a short break earlier after reading a piece about "99 things you need to do to prepare for retirement." I got to "number 2" and well I found myself just wanting to take a nap or well (no Orwellian pun intended) should I just say--it moved me.?

Much like Lewis Carroll's refrain "If you don't know where you are going, any road will get you there "
