Some Thoughts About The Trump Impeachment

Some Thoughts About The Trump Impeachment

Nobody is coming to save you.
Get up. Be your own hero.

Last night I saw a C-SPAN video clip of a woman in congress. She said there was no legal reason spelled out in the Constitution for Trump to get impeached. She also said it was pretty much the Democrats not liking the way he runs things ganging up on him.

I'm not a lawyer or a politician and neither is Donald Trump. I think he's a rich guy nobody has ever said NO to, until now. I've written in my blog several times about him. If he would have gotten a cabinet together and ran things like the Department of Defense, Transportation, Education, and about 50 other departments and bureaus his way and done his job nobody would care about him. But instead he fought congress and kept getting in trouble with his tweets on social media and what he said on television and now he can't take anything back.

I've said since he got elected he was probably going to be the fall guy for things that are wrong with congress and he got elected because when it happens he can go back to his billion dollar company because he's not a politician and doesn't have a political career to ruin.

And now he's getting impeached.

If there's  no legal reason for him to get impeached I wonder if they can really do it because he didn't get a cabinet together and run the Executive Branch, or do his job. If not, maybe one of these reasons will work:

I don't get involved in politics very much. I've watched the Democrats try to get programs like they have in Europe pushed through here for years. Every time they almost do it people vote in the Republicans because they don't want to pay the same kind of taxes they do in the European Union.

I think people should either push some or all of the programs through and pay for them or just stop talking about them and get off the Merry-Go-Round.

Either way is fine with me.

I really don't know if they can or can't impeach Donald Trump but the problems he's there to take the fall for aren't going away. He's acting like he doesn't even care.  How does Trump actually see himself?

Maybe like this:

It will be really interesting to see how things work out for him.

I think either way he's made contacts in DC and the rest of the world that will help him in his business or whatever his long term goals are. I have nothing against him personally and that's where I think I'm going to get a lot of backlash about. People take what he does personally.

He's not a politician and I  think he has his own reasons for wanting to get elected to be a public figure and I also think he has his own reasons  for fighting congress and getting all this negative press. I saw a movie about the Beatles and one of them was constantly saying any publicity is good publicity.

Maybe that's what he wants.

So what's my stance on this, well since a picture is worth a thousand words, here's one to think about:

Thanks for the input on my blog post. I've only gotten feedback like this on a few articles. I don't know what to say about your questions. I don't speak for the American People. I just write my spin on what I think is interesting. I really wasn't sure what the reaction would be about being neutral about what Trump is doing, and not doing. I think as long as people keep reacting to him he sees them as pawns on a chess board. It makes him forget he's just another puppet following a script.

The subject matter of the impeachment was grueling at best and whimsical at worst. But what i found most interesting is the fact that the impeachment was based on tyrannical use of power. Left out of the debate was what the power was being used to accomplish. We heard words like quid pro quo and other words. Well what was the leverage of power being used to gain? What was the information that was so important that the sitting president was "willing to abuse" his power? None of that part of the story was ever brought to light. If the president was attempting to build a fictitious story around a presidential candidate, it would seem germane to the proceeding. So why did the information surrounding the alleged abuse of power not get investigated to bolster the impeachment process? Again lifting the curtain of the brand just enough reveals different questions than the ones the brand has presented.

What question is the Impeachment attempting to answer? Realizing i only have the general media sources to go by, i have assembled the thoughts of the question as...........Can a sitting President inquire with another sovereign power about alleged corruption by a previous president and a future candidate for president? A secondary question is, Do the American people deserve an answer to something that happened and is over now? We have Joe Biden on video bragging about his withholding funds from the same sovereign nation until they fire a prosecutor who was looking into the same corruption the current administration is being impeached. The allegations place a presidential candidate in the middle of quid pro quo where real money exchanged hands with family members. Given this in the public information; Was the current president attempting to take out/expose corruption or removing competition? Impeachment proceedings in the House have certainly chosen their side of this question. Once we remove the branding of impeachment the real questions and actions emerge. There are several other branding stories that if you lift the curtain and look for just a moment, the brand is not as it seems.

I enjoyed your thoughts on the topic. In the beginning the retorts from both sides were shocking and destabilizing. Now its almost gotten to elevator music, just in the background. But in the day of "Branding", the ability to sell something through stories, emotions and ideals, we are having to look behind the curtain and ask what actions have been taken. Actions that benefit America or detract from the same. Ignoring the bullhorns of media and only seeing the light is on or it is off. Regardless of how it is spun. Pick any subject matter and you will find that we split along Care vs Fairness/justice. This is great argument to have and used to be called the balance of powers. Today it is competitive. I care more than you because___________. Or i am for fairness and justice. These are the lines. The curtain you refer to is the problem. The curtain is called Washington, DC. Marie Antoinette DC is telling their millionaires to give them cake. I watch as millionaires tell the thousandaires how to live. How to care more or be more fair and just. All through joining groups with abandoning the individual. This is a slippery slope as we abandon ourselves to join groups that are strictly branding groups created behind the curtain. They serve no purpose accept to increase the power of one side or the other. The sheep will wake up one day behind the electric fence. But they will be with their groups.

Mark, In my opinion, the impeachment has about as much chance as a snowball in hell. You're right. DC is a behind the curtain kind of town. And so it goes.

It's pretty obvious to me he doesn't belong where he's at. But instead of doing something about it congress and the media has just reacted to what he does for four years. It's all a bunch of smoke and mirrors. They want everyone to pay no attention to what's going on with the people behind the curtain. I think the impeachment is just more bullshit, maybe I'm wrong. Everyone eventually shows their true colors.

Mark, Good to see you expressing an opinion. I don't agree with you. But that doesn't matter. This is a place where we can share our views without being shouted down. As a successful business man I see the value of the decision making process in business as being better than what is required in governments. The problem is that approach applied to the organization charged with the responsibility of the entire population doesn't consider all elements and all the needs. it leads to a form of control most often called Fascism which is prevalent around the world today. At its worst, a law-based government can degenerate into the worst form of despotism: dictatorship. Based on information from people in DC, the president has not made many friends among the intelligent, honest, and committed people that have served this country. People that might have provided the leadership you yearn for refuse to work in his administration. He is considered morally corrupt and untrustworthy. That has become the view of governments around the world. With good reason. And so it goes.
