Roasting the President or Going Too Far?
I saw a post on the internet about Trump's upcoming State of the Union address. It was about all the things someone thought he was doing wrong. Since I think he just wants publicity and really don't think he cares what people think about him, I posted it to have a little fun and Roast the President.
The only things I don't really like about Trump is he didn't get a cabinet together to run things like the : Departments of Energy, Education, Medicine, Transportation. and a few other departments. He also wants to build a wall that doesn't make sense to a lot of people. If you've been reading my blog posts, you already know why the wall he wants doesn't make sense to me.
What surprises me the most is that the Democrats who don't like him don't realize he's handed them the keys to the White house for the next 20 years. The Republican Party isn't going to be able to get a candidate to elect as President any time soon.
There's been a big media circus about Donald Trump since he got in office. I think part of it is because the man likes the attention and just lets it happen. Another part is people like hearing about someone else's dirty laundry and want someone to be a fall guy for things they have no control over and don't like.
I mean whoever gets into office is going to have to deal with the same people with the same issues as the last guy did. There are also women who get elected into politics too, maybe people get used to a lady's touch after a while.
WTF is someone new really expected to do different?
Then there are the people broadcasting all this trash and keeping the media circus growing. There's a difference between having a little fun roasting a public official and expecting him-or her-to have a sense of humor, like on the show Saturday Night Live and painting someone as a fucking idiot.
Maybe the people who are keeping the media circus going just want more ratings or publicity for a cause they care about-kind of like the opining act of Shakespeare's Julius Caesar. That's when Roman Soldiers asked a shoe cobbler why he was leading a mob of people.
He told the soldiers he wanted the people in the crowd to wear out their shoes so he'd have more work.
