For such a time as this

For such a time as this

For such a time as this

After not having words of my own I have taken the time to seek the words of others. I have found some words which were wise while others were not as much. I have noticed a lot of knee-jerk reactions hoping to make some sense of all of this. I have seen hope and courage, people reaching out for the best. I have seen fear and abuse thinly veiled in vacuous words. People searching, striving, hungry to find the right words.

Somebody do something has been the cry. We all feel weak and powerless in this. Knowing the wrong response brings about massive consequences. Just think of a post that was not well received or a comment that was contrary to the majority opinion. But this carries not crosswords and hateful speech, but death in the real form of bullets and bombs.

The feeling of helplessness is at the core of this frustration. The desire to do something, anything. There are things you can do. Donate to groups that are present helping with the food shortage or the groups helping with the refugees. Resources are the option at your fingertips.

I have read don’t pray, act. And I understand the meaning behind the words. The heart of don’t just stand there, join us. But again, these are words from those seeking to mend the hurt and fix the problem. The cry is that words will not solve this crisis only actions will. The cry for more bullets and more bombs. We know the end of that cycle.

We also know that the only way to stop a bully is to stand up to them. So, stand we must. And a united front must be created and supported. Supported with more than simple words and sanctions, (though sanctions do much more than many give them credit.) The truth is though this war must be won with words. The right words back up with honest action.

So, it is words that I search for. Words that bear the heart of truth and purpose. Words that pierce the heart and reach the soul. The outcry sounding from the heavens is easy to read, the time for words is over now the time for war has begun. I truly pray they are wrong.

Blessings.

As you say, Greg, in times like these the best we can do as individuals is to donate and to offer sympathy to those we may know whose families may be affected. But feelings of distress when we turn on the news can be overwhelming. I therefore carefully ration my exposure to news, and make sure I take care to de-stress daily with my chosen exercise and relaxation techniques, such as walking and Qigong. I hope and trust you follow similar routines. I figure that it’s pointless worrying about things over which we have no control.

“For such a time as this” ( these words came to mind in my last post also)

.. President Zelensky (is like Esther) raised up for this moment .. he has demonstrated true leadership .. in turn he has inspired Ukrainians & the world .. (he is not a puppet president) - if he is moved by puppet hands is totally without willingness or cooperation of dark forces or unthinking men

.. Poland is like Esther .. divinely used .. bearers of Light & Truth to humanity

PRAISE & honor for Poland. Gratitude to the brave and caring Polish people and to the selfless volunteers

.. 50,000 to 80,000 refugees per DAY are coming into Poland .. even opening their homes (this is kindness & love)

.. and praise to the police there who are trying to create order and calm in the presence of great suffering and CHAOS

The world owes a unique debt of gratitude to Poland .. as does Ukraine for their help in an uninvited, unprovoked crisis.

.. Hungary & Slovakia & Romania & Moldova & other UK countries also are taking in uncounted refugees from Ukraine

Please pray for God’s intervention and help for the Ukrainian people. Pray for Peace.

And in your own way .. HELP Ukraine.

“In the midst of chaos, there is also opportunity.” – Sun Tzu - The Art of War

.. for “Esther's” to be revealed

The Art of war is to confuse your enemy - not to be confused yourself.

If there are “words” let them bear the fruit of Truth & Divine purpose.

God's Word accomplishes His will. In His time.
