“Bee challenge”… calling all bees: be part of blessing a “Brave bee”

“Bee challenge”… calling all bees: be part of blessing a “Brave bee”

gr Whine. lL,

To make a prairie it takes a clover and one bee

One clover and a bee

And reverie

The reverie alone will do

If bees are few

~Emily Dickenson (1830-1886)

My plea to the “Fellowship of bees”

Sweet as honey

… May it be …

By blessing Lyon … you & me ;~)

We become the “blessing bee”

And all can join the “reverie”

fem-v ~

It has been said that “it takes a village to raise a child”

In like:

I hope to encourage that “it takes a colony to support a bee”

I propose that random acts of kindness … include “blessing a bee”

In Sept Lyon Brave made this petition through beBee

BEBEE HELP ME SAVE LIVES: PARAMEDIC LYON BRAVE

https://www.bebee.com/producer/@lyonbrave/bebee-help-me-save-lives-paramedic-lyon-brave

This “Brave bee” has touched my heart … I know that I am not alone

Lyon’s appeal … has remained on my heart … Please note: she is not asking for much ($2,500 towards becoming a paramedic)

I believe that even in small requests there is Higher purpose

It is for this reason that I am writing to:

The "Fellowship of Bees"

In the bee-spirit of community: please consider the following “challenge” to support Lyon Brave by contributing funds to help her get the paramedic training as set forth in her September post

Another way to multiple the blessing to Lyon would be to share this buzz

Personal note:

Allow me to share that I am fairly new to beBee but one of the first bees I happened upon was Lyon Brave … I have … with bee-affection dubbed her … “Brave Lyon”

I was drawn to her post “Don’t be a donkey” (if you haven’t read it, I encourage doing so including the comments … which reflect that: two not-so-like-minded bees can “bee-light fully” banter

https://www.bebee.com/producer/@lyonbrave/don-t-be-a-donkey-by-lyon-amor-brave

Lyon’s words in the buzz likely resonated with me because I’ve heard their essence in the sagacious thinking of my like-minded son, Noah (who has been gifted with many competencies including being entrepreneurial)

“Don’t be a Donkey” encourages entrepreneurship: her idea about “seed money and the carrot farm” To which I responded … we need more farmers ;~)

Although I not always in agreement with her thinking … I LOVE that this “Brave Lyon” is THINKING … most desirous & lovely quality

I’ve had enough laps around the cornfield of life to know that thinking can change … this is often a reflection of personal growth

To echo @Bernard Poulin “you do have a daringly, wonderful, THINKING brain”

I am inspired by the diversity of topics Lyon writes about which reflect her unique way of seeing the world the world. It stretches my thinking to see through Lyon's eyes.

Please know “Brave Lyon” wherever your feet land regarding work … your pen has power … so don’t run out IDEAS, seeds or ink ;~)

“You can’t use up creativity. The more you use the more you have.” ~Maya Angelou

Special honor to:

@FranciHoffman for highlighting some of Lyon’s posts;

Honey

May we respond with a spirit of generosity that reflects the CARING of our beBee Community

“wothing, that you have not
given amay will ever Be
Youd,

(I would not ask of you if I did not do the same)

Here is Lyon Braves Go Fund Me: before this writing I checked to see her status FYI: to date there are “no donations yet … be the first to help”

https://www.gofundme.com/f/help-lyon-brave-save-lives-paramedic?utm_source=customer&utm_medium=copy_link&utm_campaign=p_cp+share-sheet

If 2,500 bees gift $1 or 25 bees gift $100 or anything in between (the goal that Lyon set will be met … or exceeded ;~)

Again: another way to multiple the blessing to Lyon would be to share this buzz

In Lyon’s words:

"In general, you can expect your paramedic tuition to cost anywhere between $1,000 to $10,000. Know that this is just an estimate, with some programs exceeding $10,000 in cost for education and training and this does not include textbooks, uniforms or the vaccinations you are required to get from the hospitals, transport or the cost of living.

I would like to get started this January 2020, if I can afford it. Consider it my Christmas present."

Additionally: I have copied this notice to the list of bees from Lyon’s September appeal:

Oswaldo Enrique Diaz Delgado Oswaldo~ Funny that you should say “tomorrow is today” … I have a friend from Portugal that often says that ;~) How often we postpone acting on things ... thinking “tomorrow” I’ll do that … but “tomorrow never comes” That is why wisdom is knowing that: “tomorrow is today”

Oswaldo Enrique Diaz Delgado Oswaldo~ thank you for being the 1st to respond You show yourself to be the “best of bees” in your always thought-full comments. Your words here show your tender heart: “Let me have among my thoughts the virtue of others who, by joining, become more prosperous” Often: “Love of neighbor” is shown in the most simple things … it is very practical “love of neighbor … is well demonstrated in a very practical ways If your are thirsty a cup of water If you are hungry some bread Does someone crossing your path on any given day have a small need? (this is my "neighbor") If we can help ... we should ... and in so responding ... be blessed...
