- Monitor current cash processes and develop and implement new processes as needed.
- Monitor and analyze revenue performance, identifying trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Key contributor of the revenue close process (month/quarter/year): ensuring accuracy and compliance of company accounting policies.
- Responsible for identifying, analyzing, and problem-solving revenue cycle issues with focus on receivables, deferred income, and bad debt expense.
- Perform various month-end closing tasks, including journal entries, invoicing, refunds.
- Lead the month-end revenue meeting.
- Support the finance and accounting teams during the month and month-end close.
- Provide ad hoc analyses around revenue and cash receipts, including enhancing models and reports as required.
- Assist with preparation of revenue forecast and budget.
- Key liaison between the Finance and the NA Royalty Admin teams.
- Occasional travel may be required.
- BA in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience, ideally in multinational or production environment. 2-3 year revenue recognition experience preferred.
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Ability to effectively multi-task and problem solve with minimal oversight.
- Must be results-oriented with the ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to keep information confidential.
- Music/entertainment industry experience highly preferred.
- SAP experience preferred.
- Prior experience with data analytics or tools a plus.
