    Join our team as a Module Equipment Technician at Intel's New Mexico Disaggregation Manufacturing Operation (NM DMO), where innovation thrives and leading-edge technology development is driven. Enjoy a balanced work-life with our compressed work week schedule, alternating between four days on and three days off, then three days on and four days off.


    Location: Rio Rancho, NM
    Facilities: Fab 11X/Fab 9
    Shift Openings: Shifts 4, 5, 6, and 7

    Role of a Module Equipment Technician: As a Module Equipment Technician, you will:

    • Engage in all aspects of wafer production, encompassing operations, equipment maintenance, processes, and training.
    • Analyze operating data to make real-time equipment adjustments and optimize processes.
    • Manage qualitative material runs, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, spares, and sustaining.
    • Execute operational tasks, preventative maintenance, and collaborate in diagnosing equipment issues within manufacturing.
    • Drive process improvements, troubleshoot nonstandard events in the production line, and evaluate technological health and stability.
    • Participate in safety forums and Emergency Response Team activities as needed.
    • Handle tasks ranging from well-defined to highly complex, utilizing judgment and initiative to address nonstandard issues and provide recommendations.

    Qualifications

    Minimum Requirements:

    • Associate's degree/certification in an equipment-focused program (e.g., Automotive Maintenance, HVAC, Mechatronics, or Aviation maintenance) AND

    One of the following within the last 5 years:

    • 2+ years of semiconductor equipment maintenance experience OR
    • 4+ years of military equipment maintenance experience OR
    • 4+ years of experience in electronics, equipment troubleshooting, installation, or repair professionally.
    • Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds (18 kgs) 4 times a day.
    • Requires regular standing, walking, bending, and reaching.
    • This position does not qualify for Intel immigration sponsorship.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Experience shaping new specs, procedures, and business processes for equipment maintenance.
    • Knowledge of process control systems.
    • Proficiency in interpreting schematics and complex diagrams.
    • Experience in integrated circuit fabrication.
