    Job Description

    Come be part of our team as a Module Equipment Technician and together let's contribute to the advancement of technology. We offer a unique work schedule where you will have four days on and three days off one week, followed by three days on and four days off the next week.
    This role in Fab 11X/Fab 9 provides opportunities on shifts 4, 5, 6, and 7.

    Join Intel's New Mexico Disaggregation Manufacturing Operation (NM DMO) at our Rio Rancho manufacturing facility to be a part of the technology future. The New Mexico site is a key player in Intel's mission to develop technology that enhances lives globally.
    With a $3.5 billion investment in expanding and modernizing our Rio Rancho facilities, we are also creating numerous job openings, staying true to our responsibility with the RISE (Responsive, Inclusive, Sustainable, Enabling) strategy.

    As a Module Equipment Technician, you will be involved in various wafer production tasks such as:

    • Operations, equipment maintenance, process, and training.
    • Collecting and assessing operating data for equipment adjustments and process optimization.
    • Running materials efficiently, performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and more.
    • Executing operational tasks, maintenance, and troubleshooting to enhance the manufacturing process.

    Additionally, you will be accountable for:

    • Enhancing processes, dealing with nonstandard events in production, and ensuring technological well-being.
    • Participation in safety forums and Emergency Response Team activities.
    • Handling tasks that vary from routine to complex, requiring judgment and initiative.
    • Solving complex problems and providing recommendations.
    • Following instructions for routine tasks and new assignments.

    This is an entry-level position with appropriate compensation.

    Qualifications

    Minimum Requirements:

    Candidates must have at least one of the following:

    • Associate's degree/certification in relevant program OR

    One of the following experience criteria met in the last 5 years:

    • Minimum 1 year in semiconductor equipment maintenance OR
    • Minimum 2 years in military equipment maintenance OR
    • Minimum 2 years in electronics, equipment troubleshooting, or repair.
    • Ability to lift weight periodically and perform physical tasks.
    • Frequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching are required.
    • This position does not offer immigration sponsorship.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Ability to contribute to new procedures and processes in equipment maintenance.
    • Knowledge of process control systems.
    • Experience with schematics and complex diagrams.
    • Background in integrated circuit fabrication.
